Double R Bar Regulators, our local High Desert SASS club and
long-time supporters of the foundation, presented a check for $5,000
to the foundation. |

The Tumbling
Tumbleweeds, a popular group of young men who perform in the style
of the Sons of the Pioneers, will be entertaining this year at
Curly’s Cowboy Christmas, December 14. |

foundation, presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Joel Dortch
for the foundation during the SASS Convention last December. |

Captain Cookie
Cutter aka Jim Levell, presented a donation of $1,3280 for the
foundation to Joel Dortch during the Gunfight Behind the Jersey Lily
on October 26. These funds represented the proceeds from a delicious

Executive
Director Joel Dortch presented a beautiful Cattle Baron buckle to
Pastor Randy Gibson at the first Breakfast Club in February 2008.
Pastor Gibson and his family were regular attendees at the Roy
Rogers and Dale Evans Film Festival since the first one over 10
years ago. |

Popular actor and
festival guest Ben Cooper and his wife Pamela, were our featured
celebrities at the first meeting of the Breakfast Club last
February. Regretfully, Pamela passed away after a lengthy
illness just before Labor Day this year. We all miss her. |

Veteran
stuntman/character actor Neil Summers was the special celebrity
guest at the second edition of the Breakfast Club on September 13,
with foundation Operations Manager, Margaret Netcell and favorite
character actor/celebrity auctioneer Cliff Emmich. |

Former foundation
president, John Armstrong, presented our annual Good Guy White
Hat Award to long-time foundation board member and treasurer,
Robert FitzSimmons, at the 19th Annual Roy Rogers and
Dale Evans Celebrity Golf Tournament. |

The Willmas
Charitable Trust gave the foundation a Grant in the amount of
$15,000 to purchase new sports equipment for the boys at the Cooper
Home. Included were softballs, basketballs, soccer balls, footballs,
bats, bases, exercise equipment and much, much more. The boys are
really putting this equipment to good use. |
